CONTINENTAL GP 4000 S \u2013 23mm por JEBY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Teniendo en cuenta que soy \u201cMountain Biker\u201d aunque cada vez con m\u00e1s \u201cincursiones\u201d en la carretera, todo sea dicho, hasta que han pasado unos a\u00f1os de rodaje y desgaste de cubiertas, y probar varios tipos de ellas, no he podido dar una opini\u00f3n y asegurar que he encontrado las cubiertas id\u00f3neas, seg\u00fan mi opini\u00f3n, para mi \u201cflaca\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Las archiconocidas Continental Grand Prix 4000 S 23mm son unas de las cubiertas que tienen, sin ninguna duda, la fama que se merecen, si hay algo que las define es CALIDAD y AGARRE.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2726\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a id=\"caption-attachment-2726\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Test CONTINENTAL GP 4000 S \u2013 23mm por JEBY<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A priori parecen unas cubiertas normales, sin grandes elementos de dise\u00f1o ni \u201ccolorines\u201d que tanto entran por los ojos, y se lleva ahora para que haga juego con nuestra flaca, sino todo lo contrario, precisamente lo que tienen y transmiten es la sobriedad alemana de sus dise\u00f1adores y fabricantes.<\/p>\n<p>Pero cumplen lo que tienen que cumplir,\u00a0 su sobriedad es tal como su eficacia, durabilidad, resistencia, agarre y polivalencia, que son las palabras que en mi opini\u00f3n m\u00e1s pueden definirlas.<\/p>\n<p>No voy a entrar en detalles t\u00e9cnicos de compuestos, tipos de goma y dem\u00e1s, ya que para eso est\u00e1n las fichas t\u00e9cnicas del fabricante, donde justica sus pesos y caracter\u00edsticas de los compuestos con la utilizaci\u00f3n de un tipo u otro de caucho y grosores, pero si tengo que destacar que para ser una cubierta 23 mm, que a priori puede ser un \u00edndice en el que la posibilidad de pinchazos no es baja, me sorprendi\u00f3 desde su inicio su resistencia y durabilidad, lo que seguramente se debe a que no es la m\u00e1s ligera del mercado, ya que en Continental nos hablan de un tipo de compuesto llamado \u201cBlack Chilli\u201d fabricado en un tipo de caucho especial con part\u00edculas de carbono (no siempre lo que lleva carbono es ligero \ud83d\ude09 ) que unido a la carcasa de \u201cVectran\u201d (recubrimiento\u00a0 elaborado con un hilo de pl\u00e1stico y multifilamentos) hace que el compromiso resistencia, durabilidad y calidad de rodadura sea muy alto, si bien no tanto el peso como dec\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/valwindcycles.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/RREF_Co4GP4_sw-d2-il.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Desde el primer momento, la calidad de rodadura es apreciable, pero me llam\u00f3 especialmente la atenci\u00f3n tanto la capacidad de agarre al suelo de la cubierta en los pasos en curva, as\u00ed como en condiciones de mucha humedad y agua, como la ausencia de pinchazos, grietas o pellizcos.<\/p>\n<p>Que ruedan bien es f\u00e1cil de adivinar, el dibujo de la cubierta est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para rodar y rodar muchos kms, con unos peque\u00f1os dibujos laterales que ayudan en los pasos de curva, y que incluso llev\u00e1ndolos a ciertos \u201cextremos\u201d ofrecen la seguridad suficiente como para que los m\u00e1s bajadores disfruten.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a las condiciones de humedad, voy a usar una de las palabras que m\u00e1s me gustan en ciertos componentes y piezas de mis bicis, \u201cpolivalencia\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En ning\u00fan momento, ni en invierno ni en verano he tenido la sensaci\u00f3n de tener que cambiar de cubiertas para rodar mejor o m\u00e1s seguro, ni en seco, ni con agua, y eso es sin\u00f3nimos de polivalencia, poco m\u00e1s que a\u00f1adir, teniendo en cuenta que cualquier cubierta de carretera, por muy mixta que sea, con mucha agua tiene sus carencias.<\/p>\n<p>El primer juego que mont\u00e9 tanto delante como detr\u00e1s, lo desmont\u00e9 perdiendo la cuenta de los kms que hab\u00eda hecho, haciendo unos c\u00e1lculos \u201ca ojo\u201d, andar\u00edan por encima de los 4.000 kms la trasera para cambiarla y m\u00e1s de 8.000 kms la delantera, momentos en los que empiezan a mostrar \u201cciertos\u201d signos de desgaste, que sinceramente, ni si quiera eran muy evidentes, salvo porque pinch\u00e9 por primera vez con ellas al final de su vida \u00fatil.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2727\" style=\"width: 471px\" te hacen sudar para meterlas en llanta.<\/p>\n<p>Est\u00e9ticamente, como ya he comentado anteriormente, no son las m\u00e1s bonitas, pero s\u00ed las m\u00e1s eficaces, as\u00ed que si llevas ruedas con c\u00e1mara\u2026no lo dudes, estas cubiertas son un acierto seguro, y no tendr\u00e1s que andar pensando en si son las m\u00e1s adecuadas para una estaci\u00f3n u otra, eso s\u00ed, si eres un \u201cmachaca\u201d y te gusta competir, debes saber que no son las m\u00e1s ligeras, pero si dispones de unas ruedas de entrenamiento y otras de competici\u00f3n\u2026.en tus ruedas de entrenamiento no pueden faltar unas Continental Gran Prix 4000 S.<\/p>\n<p>En resumen, una buena cubierta elegida por muchos ciclistas, que cumplir\u00e1 con creces todas tus expectativas y con la que pinchar no ser\u00e1 f\u00e1cil, alguna vez pinchar\u00e1s, pero no ser\u00e1 f\u00e1cil.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/valwindcycles.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/gp4000s.jpg?ssl=1\"><img
